Rust resistance and outstanding dry matter production

Ignite was chosen due to its excellent initial growth and dry matter production combined with rust resistance to all current leaf rust pathotypes. Suitable for all classes of livestock, hay or silage production, Ignite is a semi erect variety suited to a wide range of soil types.

Ignite is later maturing and will remain vegetative into late spring (moisture dependent). For best results in a continuous grazing system, do not graze below the growing point (located just above the highest node). To achieve maximum regrowth, it is suggested not to graze below 10-15cm.
