As an upgraded replacement to One50, Three60 AR37 is a late, diploid perennial ryegrass with medium to fine tillers that persists in areas with high insect pressure. Three60's late heading date means farmers can benefit from ample autumn feed and high quality hay/silage through summer.
Demonstrating outstanding autumn and summer performance, Three60 persists well (for a ryegrass) when put under heat and moisture pressure due to its efficient use of summer irrigation and natural rainfall (water use efficiency).
As a highly vegetative cultivar, Three60 produces minimal seed heads during grazing which simplifies pasture management throughout spring and summer. Apply late autumn Nitrogen for strong winter activity and to assist with early spring vigour.
Sowing rate (sole): 20-25kg/ha
Sowing rate (mixed): 15-20kg/ha
An endophyte is a fungus found naturally in many grass species, including ryegrass. It provides the plant with protection from insects, and in return the plant provides the endophyte with a place to live and reproduce.
