Australian bred, new generation, multi purpose cowpea that adapts to a wide range of soil types

Kalahari is an Australian bred and developed multi purpose cowpea. Featuring a very strong spreading growth habit, Kalahari was selected for its high vegetative dry matter/forage production and high seed yields. It is an easy to establish crop with high seedling vigour, wide adaption to soil types and drought tolerance. Kalahari has shown to be very palatable with a large leaf area and attractive dark green foliage.
