Direct drill an Ultrastrike® treated winter active ryegrass such as Ascend or Astro®
- Ultrastike seed treatment is always recommended when direct drilling grass to grass to protect against Black Beetle and Argentine Stem Weevil.
- Increase your farm’s winter production by sowing a high yielding winter active annual ryegrass.
- Addressing fertility before sowing will encourage low performing paddocks to transition to some of the highest performing paddocks on the farm
- Apply nitrogen approximately 4-6 weeks after sowing and regularly throughout late winter and spring
